Cooperation

The EFP is very engaged to cooperate with other associations.
Therefore it uses as well extern cooperation as intern cooperation.

Extern cooperation means to be in contact and have agreements with other associations that are working in the field of Psychomotricity.

Intern cooperation means to make bilateral agreements between EFP-Members as proposed by the EU.

Extern Cooperation

Protocol of Collaboration

INTRODUCTION

Based on a holistic view of the human being, on the unity of body and mind, psychomotricity integrates the cognitive, emotional, symbolical and physical interactions in the individual’s capacity to be and to act in a psychosocial context.
Psychomotricians play a part in several areas. These are health, education and research, and they apply to all ages and to all groups of the population.

GOALS OF THE COLLABORATION

The OIPR and the EFP formalise their intention to reinforce their already existing collaboration.

OIPR and EFP preserve their respective autonomy and independence concerning the structure, the activities and the economic aspects of their organization and functioning.

The cooperation has as objective to strengthen the links between OIPR and EFP, with the aim of promoting more effectively the profession of psychomotrician on the European and International levels for the benefit of the professionals and in the respect to the patients.

The promotion of the psychomotor profession at the European and International levels involves:

stern
Actions of information aiming at a better knowledge about psychomotricity;
stern
Development of the professional practice of psychomotricians;
stern
Favouring the exchanges between psychomotricians of various countries and continents;
stern
Development of basic and applied research and in the broadcasting of the research results and knowledge;
stern
Actions contributing to the official recognition of the formation and the profession in all countries.

Signed in November 2007 by
Lone Helleberg-Frimodt, President of the European Forum of Psychomotricity and
