GENERAL INFORMATION
Definition of an expert
An expert has knowledge, skills and aptitude in a particular area
that goes significantly beyond a general appreciation.
An expert is widely recognized and a reliable resource of knowledge
or skill, whose judgement is accorded authority and status by the
public or his peers
Goals of the database
• Political aim: assure the recognition of the profession"
• Quality evaluation: secure the standard of quality"
• International exchange: promotion of experts"
Criterias to be admitted to the database „list of
experts“:
Applicants for the database have two ways to fulfil the criteria
for admittance:

| 1. Initial Education
in Psychomotor Therapy (Minimum 180 ECTS) |
| 2. Further Education
in Psychomotor Therapy (Minimum 120 ECTS) |
| 3. Lecturing in
psychomotor subjects in a center of advanced studies or a university
for minimum 3 years |
| 4. Practice in Psychomotor
Therapy for a minimum of 3 years |
| 5. Research in
the field of Psychomotor Therapy (at least on the level of a
thesis of a master of education) |
| 6.
Publications in the field of psychomotor therapy (books with
an ISBN-code or articles in reviews of Psychomotor Therapy or
scientific papers) |

Assessment of the applicants for the database
The national associations of professionals in the member countries
are responsible for finding the experts and to assess if the applicants
satisfy the requirements.
